I See You!

There’s nothing more fulfilling in life than to be seen, understood & to be valued for who you are. Sharing an insightful conversation with the kids on seeing people and being seen. Sharing our experience of a movie or a book always makes for a delightful conversation thereafter. It gives a peek into a teachable moment for parent and child both.

Amongst the long list of movies we caught up on this summer was Avatar. Still a compelling watch, and can’t wait to see ‘The way of the water’.

Son: (midway through the movie) I think I am Na’vi. I can’t relate to any of the humans.

Me (smiling): I know that feeling. Well your on Earth, to help raise its frequency and bring in more loving and gentle times.

Son: Hmm, and create Pandora here?

Me: (nodding) Yep, if each one of us takes responsibility and takes kinder actions for the collective well being. We are home.

Son: Hmm!

Daughter: Mamma, I see you! I see you, mamma!

Me: Awwww.. I see you too! May you both grow up surrounded with people who see you and who you can see. There’s nothing more beautiful than being understood and living in sync with the people around you.
